PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COACH

This role leads the professional growth and development of junior consultants to develop mindsets and skillsets to thrive in their role today and become purposeful, inspiring leaders of tomorrow. This position combines coaching with other key 'people' functions including learning and development, onboarding, engagement and more. This position is located in our Philadelphia, PA office.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coaching: Facilitating career growth of junior consultants through 1:1 coaching and group coaching. Must be able to manage large cohort sizes efficiently
  • Talent development / learning: Developing content for - and / or delivering - learning offerings to enhance the growth and development of junior consultants
  • Onboarding and integration: Supporting initiatives that enable a smooth joiner experience for new junior consultants
  • Strategic partnership: Collaborating with business / HR leaders to proactively plan for - or address - coachee / organizational needs either through coaching or in partnership with the applicable function (e.g., learning, onboarding, engagement)
  • Enhancing coaching culture: Contributing to enhancing the coaching culture through content creation, presentations, role modeling / SME, and more

Qualifications

Background:
  • Previous career or professional development coaching experience, with formal coach training and credentialing strongly preferred
  • ~8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
Required skills:
  • Experience building strong remote and in-person relationships across all organizational levels (especially junior team members)
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience facilitating presentations / learning sessions (virtually and in-person)
  • Ability to work independently, including strong ownership and excellent time management skills to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Enthusiasm and ability to strongly collaborate within and outside of the team
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / work diplomatically with sensitive information
  • Ability to think through challenges with a solution-and-possibility-oriented lens
  • Experience creating content for - and delivering - learning / upskilling sessions
  • Ability / desire to be in-person (when offices return) approximately a few days a week
Nice-to-have's:
  • Experience with group / team coaching
  • ICF Certification (ACC/PCC/MCC)
ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
