Role: System Analyst V

The client is seeking a Systems Analyst to design and implement information systems solutions in accordance with company standards. The Systems Analyst helps the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. They bring business and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both. The candidate works directly with internal customers to translate business needs to technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Function as a thought leader, design and develop technology solutions to complex and ambiguous business problems for internal and external stakeholders
• Handle and analyze large, unstructured data sets; dissect and synthesize as needed to provide required business data intelligence to the customer.
• Understand and manage end-to-end business process impacts for complex product solutions
• Translate system-agnostic business needs to implementable solutions in Fannie Mae business applications.
• Innate passion for continuous improvement and possess the ability to identify emerging business needs and proactively strive to address them
• Build/Design automation (script or tool based) and repeatable solutions to business problems for ongoing efficiency.
• Understand and contribute to enterprise architecture discussions for required future state technical functionality.

Skills:

• Experience with one or more standard reporting platforms/solutions and be able to build and deliver both non-standard and standardized reports on an ongoing basis for the customer.
• Adept at data visualization and dashboarding with tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Ability to clearly communicate & explain business issues for both business and technical stakeholders across the enterprise
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail .
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years experience required.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language highly preferred
• Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
