Description ofWork:

This individual is responsiblefor assuring the optimal functioning of building systems and physical plantconditions, including mechanical, fire/life safety, elevators, boilerinspections etc.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and extensive maintenance reviews at all Bank locations and manual repairs when necessary including, but not limited to:
• Repairs, refurbishments, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall, grounds keeping, concrete, flooring, finish work & painting, and all physical plant related issues
• Work closely with and monitor outside vendor's performance to ensure their work is completed according to Bank standards
• Inspect branches and corporate office on a regular schedule to ensure building code compliance and work area adherence to corporate health and safety standards
• Assist in branch expansions and facilities projects including construction and renovation
• Assist with departmental/employee relocations
• Transport goods/services as needed
• Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and tools
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs is required
• Other projects/tasks as assigned
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional accountabilities as required.
• Respond to Facilities emergencies
• Available for on call shifts as well as occasional overtime

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

• 2-5 years' relevant experience
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other building mechanical systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proven track record of improving efficiencies of workflow for optimal output
• Must have a valid NYS Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• The Bank has locations throughout Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Must be able to cover the Western Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan locations

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years prior experience in related work environment
• Bachelors Degree in related field of Business or field certification/license
