Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Facilities Technician II in the Facilities department at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Facilities Department with the following:

  • Complete High Level Facilities related projects, work, and repairs including: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC as needed.
  • Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical facility mechanical, electrical equipment and other installed systems
  • Receive and execute facilities related work orders through FacilityDude; or other Facility Departmental Computerized Maintenance Management System; Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system
  • Consult with Facilities Dept. Leadership to order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work
  • Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations and programs
  • Assist Departmental Managers and Directors in Facilities Project Management as appropriate
  • Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in facilities/sites and recommend actions to be taken
**NOTICE**
In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.
The same guidelines noted above apply during flu season (defined as December 1st - through end of flu season as announced by the CDC) for BHN's Mandatory Influenza Vaccine policy.

Who are we?

Our facilities staff work with hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility operations within BHN properties and programs. Work includes installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and / or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of the building(s). The position also requires specialized and high level facilities related knowledge and ability to coordinate facility related projects.

What are we looking for in a Facilities Technician II?
  • Specialized and/or Licensed Level Knowledge of Facilities Systems, Preventative Maintenance, and High Level Facilities Projects.
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Advanced Knowledge of all Facilities related safety standards and regulations (fire, evacuation, equipment handling and failure, etc.
  • 5 Years of Facilities related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
