The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for managing the field service department including installations, start-ups, and repairs; interacting with customers; resolving problems; conducting service audits; conducting training; maintaining databases.
Responsibilities:
* Manages and leads the field service department to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
* Responds to internal and external customers' questions concerning use/trouble shooting/application of the systems/legacy/product
* Travels to customer sites to perform trouble-shooting, service audits, installations, and to conduct training and software/hardware upgrades
* Performs customer repairs using the company's repair center as needed
* Managing RMA process, including evaluation & quoting, delegating repairs to operations.
* Performs system check-outs for production system equipment prior to delivery to customer sites
* Performs system installations, start-ups, and commissioning
* Provides production support at customer sites
* Assists engineering and lab areas, as needed.
* Collects and approves time sheets for supervised staff
* Participates in weekly meetings with engineering and operations, to support monthly expected deliverables
* Manages the serial number database for doser, pumps, remanufactured products
* Updates engineering database on installation parameters i.e., software versions, locations, etc.
* Ensures that service staff is properly equipped
* Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety and orderliness of the internal shop environment
* Prepares Service Reports when project or service work is completed
* Ensures that Service Reports are properly completed and filed by staff members
* Maintains service boxes (at customer sites) inventory management
* Communicates with staff, peers, management, and customers
* Conducts department meetings; participates in company and customer meetings
* Composes business correspondence including letters, memos, and emails
* Complies with company's business and human resources policies; work rules; safety requirements; quality standards; standard operating procedures; CLIA, HIPAA, OIG requirements and applicable local, State, and Federal regulations
* Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
Qualifications:
* Six months to one year college or specialized training in or a related field
* Seven years of related experience
* Or an equivalent combination of education or training beyond high school and experience
