Location/Division Specific Information

This position is based in Hillsboro, OR and is part of our Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD). MSD supplies innovative solutions for microscopy and microanalysis. Using scanning and transmission electron microscopes and DualBeamâ„¢ FIB-SEMs, combined with sophisticated software suites, our customers can combine high-resolution imaging with physical, elemental, chemical, and electrical analysis to go from questions to usable data. Our solutions enable customers to push the boundaries of productivity and innovation. Materials and Structural Analysis impacts everyday life -- medicines and vaccines, transportation, clean energy, devices, food, bridges, technology, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for overall financial support of the semiconductor business. The role should provide financial insight to the business leaders and manage a team of financial controllers in order to meet business objectives and targets. The candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, planning, and reporting activities for the Semiconductor business, and will partner with the business leaders to develop actions and recommendations to enable the business to achieve its financial objectives.

  • Be the business partner to the VP, General Manager of the Semiconductor business unit.
  • Lead financial planning and annual operating plan process for the Semiconductor BU
  • Working closely with Marketing and Sales Operations, continue to drive improvement in price and margin analytics that provide meaningful insights to Business Unit and Sales leadership.
  • Drive the forecasting process and prepare key monthly and quarterly business review materials and outlooks.
  • Support the business in order to structure sales transactions to drive profitable growth.
  • Drive evaluation of all major investments to support in decision making for the business.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as business requirements emerge.
Education
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting is required; an MBA or CPA is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • An ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and a strong proficiency in business partnering and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Leading and developing a team of financial professionals.
  • Self-motivated with high bias for action and accountability
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible finance/accounting experience
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Excel, Hyperion, and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position requires willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
