  • Gathers input and data to prepare budgets, forecasts, and analyses supporting the needs of financial planning and ongoing business operations
  • Develops financial queries used for analysis of accounting, project, and business unit issues
  • Gathers and analyzes financial information on revenue and expenses to prepare detailed invoices, reports, and presentations
  • Assists project managers and other team members with the preparation, submission, and management of client invoices
  • Assists with the design and production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Supports business unit employees through analysis and presentation of financial data
  • Engages in accounts receivable collection management
  • Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommends accounting and financial reporting process improvements
  • Ensures business unit and projects follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Special projects as assigned

 

 

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative data and present summary information to leadership, both verbally and in written presentations
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of internal and client stakeholders
  • Highly effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams at once so as to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams; experience with Access, PowerBI and other applications a plus
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Database systems experience preferred

 

Education:      Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and relevant experience preferred

 

Experience:    2+ years experience in financial analysis
