Position Description
Hays U.S. Corporation is looking for a Financial Specialist to be responsible for the data integrity and financial reporting in our sales system. We are one of the top Staffing Firms in the U.S. specializing in placement of professionals with offices across the country.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintaining our internal sales and commission system. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Reviewing all data entered to ensure revenue and cost of sales is being recorded accurately
- Review sales commissions and bonuses to ensure they are paid accurately
- Working with software developers on improvements to the system
- Analyzing financial and reporting information to provide accurate and timely recommendations to assist management in decision making
- Assist with the automation of reports
- Create and maintain process documentation for Finance group positions
- Partners with Leadership to ensure reporting is available for them to manage their business and its changing environment
- Work with managers and employees to address and fix data discrepancies
- Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting
- Collaborate with Leadership on compensation strategy, best practices, policies and programs
- Support planning and forecasting processes to drive appropriate reporting and analysis
- Create Ad Hoc reports and analysis upon request
- Assist in training of new/existing financial staff as needed
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Expert level knowledge utilizing Excel and other MS Office products
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, must have good follow-up with attention to detail
- Team player with good conflict resolution and influencing skills
- Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
