Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Financial Systems Analyst in Clearwater, FL.Summary:The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for activities surrounding systems to which they are assigned. Technical responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of assigned financial systems operations to ensure superior technical support, identifying process improvements based on customer's needs and troubleshooting and providing client support for systems and applications. Efforts regarding the primary supported systems include a working knowledge of the functions performed by the finance team within Lawson and/or Essbase and Hyperion Planning. This includes a general awareness of the application's functionality, general financial reporting tasks and an ability to work as a technical liaison for the finance team on IS and business projects. The analyst creates and maintains the system procedural/training manuals and communications, manages system access and licenses, and assists with ad hoc data requests. The analyst is also required to take a lead role in any system patches, upgrades and new implementations.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; Degree in Finance or Business is also preferred
• 5 years of finance experience with data analysis, and exposure to business systems
• 5 years of Accounting experience
• 5 years of finance experience
• 2 years of Systems Analysis experience
• Lawson & Essbase experience
• Customer service skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
