In this position, you will have an opportunity to work and manage relationships with some of the world's leading F&B brands. Utilizing your extensive technical skills, you will be responsible for leading and supporting third party audits across Food Safety Schemes such as - FSSC 22000, BRCGS and SQF.

This is a remote position based from any location in the Continental U.S.(except Colorado).

Tasks may include:

Project Manager

  • Responsible for Managing the Contract Execution - Including Service Delivery Plans (with help from KCM) - Includes all MSA relevant Schemes at Assigned Customer - Responsibility could be Regional/National or Global
  • In charge of Internal Coordination and Project outcome in front of Customer
  • Is the primary Technical Support Lead for assigned Customer - This includes the support/development of Project Audit Schedules/Sampling Plans - ensuring that appropriate calculations/time has been figured correctly per certification scheme.
  • Is responsible for assigned Auditor Oversight at the Customer - Including holding regular Auditor Calibration Meetings (i.e., making sure Correct Audit Reports are being used, Ensuring Auditors understand Service Delivery expectations, etc.)
  • Is Responsible for Quarterly or End of Year Site Audit Overviews with Customer - (analytical overviews, i.e., top 5 non-conformances based on schemes, etc.)
  • Responsible to ensure updates to schemes have been provided to Customer and DNV schedulers/planners
  • Responsible to serve as back up auditor at Assigned Customer Sites when necessary
  • Responsibility starts with appointment after contract signature and ends when payment of last contractual invoice has been received
  • Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers
  • Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure
  • Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed

Auditor
  • Performs 3rd party certification audits for US and Canada F&B customers to SQF, BRC, or FSSC standards
  • Performs 3rd party quality and/or safety audits/assessments on behalf of customers and their suppliers
  • Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers
  • Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure
  • Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed
Position Qualifications

Requirements

Demonstrated track record in the following areas:
  • A degree in a food related or bioscience discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage industry
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Course
  • SQF and/or BRCGS and/or FSSC Lead Auditor Course
  • Ability to read/interpret audit protocols and work instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to audiences of varying size, seniority, and technical competency
  • Knowledge of the scheme owners' processes, bespoke frameworks of global brands and accreditation requirements in the supply chain assessment domain
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements for the schemes provided by DNV Supply Chains (and Product Assurance) Organization
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop others in the network
  • Holds self and others to high standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Good interpersonal, communication and internal and external stakeholder management skills with ability to drive and achieve results in an independent manner through functions, geographies, and stakeholders
  • Able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. in addition to transporting one's own luggage for multiple-day travel and push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel with that which is lifted, carried, or transported.
