The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the restaurant and must also direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide for respective staff while emphasizing the importance of quality customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the restaurant / Food and Beverage field. The restaurant manager must have knowledge of all food and beverages served (product, cost control, alcohol awareness). Some duties include participating in daily meetings with chef and staff, preparing work schedules for staff, documenting attendance, assigning duties, preparing and submitting weekly payroll/tips, monitoring staff performance, anticipating guests' needs and responding promptly to those needs as well as assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service. We are seeking a personable, organized and capable leader who can effectively manage a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels.

High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant, preferably in a leadership role. Food Safety certification and alcohol awareness certification desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
