Description:

SUMMARY

Working with close supervision, the RPG PIT Trainer's primary job function includes but is not limited to, administer and present the GameStop Formal PIT Classroom training, including PIT Operator Knowledge Check test, in alignment with designated standards. Certify Associates for safe operation of all PIT used in Fulfillment Center, including Reach Truck, Order Picker, Standup, Clamp Truck and Double Walkie Rider. Complete an "On the Job Audit" on every Associate who has successfully passed the initial practical PIT assessment within the timeline specified by GameStop.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage time effectively to meet training needs for the Fulfillment Center.
* Correctly document certifications and training records per GameStop document retention standards.
* Update all training trackers, scheduling boards, staffing boards, certification licenses after all training/certifications are complete.
* Record all training (pass or fail) into GameStop Learning Management System and correct or escalate any training record that were entered or found to be an error.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Build and maintain professional partnership with all Operational, HR, Safety and Facilities Leadership and all Associates on the Learning Team.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when presented with information about Leadership, new polices, Associates, co-workers, etc. including but not limited to performance, discipline, termination, etc.

* Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents
* Must be able to lift and/or move boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds
* Previous experience working in a distribution center
* Previous experience operating PIT equipment
* Must be able to bend, stoop, climb on ladders, and drag wooden pallets weighing up to 60 pounds on an infrequent, as needed basis
* Education and Certification Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent certification
* GameStop Certified Training Certification, completed within 30 days of hire and before certifying any Associate on Powered Industrial Trucks.
* Complete training to be able to perform all duties of an Associate within 30 days of hire; regularly work in operation process paths to maintain working knowledge and awareness.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SKILLS

* Working understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
* Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications - specifically, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
* Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English
* Possess the dexterity to utilize writing utensils (pen/pencil), calculators, small hand-held tools, manual razors and other mechanical/electrical equipment without assistance
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities in order to meet established deadlines
* Ability to recognize discrepancies in written/recorded data/information
Ability to understand and comply with all GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, those related to attendance, safety, conflict of interest, confidentiality, honesty and ethical conduct
