The Global Security Fusion Operations Center Manager will report to the Director of Global Security Operations Centers, while leading a team of managers of core operations, tactical intelligence and other functions, in addition to vendor staff. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Global Security Operations Center (a node within the fusion center), overseeing Fusion Operations (converging various parts of the business with Global Security), collaborating with cross-functional partners within the Meta business on workstreams such as crisis response and management, emergency coordination, and business information and intelligence sharing in a world-class control center. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing support to stakeholders during disruptions and managing the escalation and communication to both field and key leadership, as well as leading the cross-organizational crisis management team in situations when the GSOC activates its Incident Command capabilities. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with vendor, project, and finance management as it pertains to a large team environment.

Global Security Fusion Operations Center Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team on a daily basis and coordinate ongoing projects
  • Manage team performance as it pertains to the documented career expectations
  • Determine staffing requirements: guides recruiting, hiring, training, development, and retention of highly qualified team members
  • Develop a deep understanding of operational risks and drive the response process in order to minimize the impact of these risks
  • Manage, review, and coordinate future planning based on operational metrics and health
  • Engage with partners to ensure operational alignment across the organization as it pertains to emergency response, training, systems deployment, and suite of services alignment
  • Lead crisis and emergency response operations
  • Build intelligence collection plans
  • Develop and manage risk controls


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years as a manager of a team in a demanding business or operational environment
  • 10+ years in emergency/law enforcement of military operations and/or relevant or related experience
  • 5+ years of Management experience
  • Inclusive people management experience
  • Leadership experience of operations in a joint operational environment, to include military, law enforcement or first responder operations.
  • Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in risk, intelligence, project management, finance, business administration etc.
  • Tenured military, law enforcement or first responder experience, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Direct management of large, multi-faceted budgets.
