The mission of the Office of Research Administration is to provide exceptional support for Indiana University's research community in order to catalyze research productivity and protect the institution and its research community from risk.
Job Summary
Works within the Proposal and Award Services division of the Office of Research Administration (ORA) to provide professional support for internal staff as well as Indiana University's research community. This position is one of the primary points of contact for faculty, departmental, and sponsor proposal and award inquiries. Position is responsible for managing the workflow of Proposal and Award Services staff, including entering proposal/award data into an internal workflow management system, assigning work to the appropriate staff, filtering and sending communications to the correct work groups within ORA, and corresponding with all stakeholders. This position serves all of IU's campuses and has the possibility to be a "work from anywhere" position.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in a research related field and experience in a related field.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
