Volt is immediately hiring a Grinder in Rancho Santa Margarita. This is a direct hire opportunity paying $56,160-$66,560 per year!

As a Grinder you will:

• Must be able to set up and operate a variety of production grinding machines, such as, O.D. Grinder, I.D. Grinder, Universal Grinder, Vertical Grinder, Blanchard Grinder.
• Must be able to perform general grinding operations to specified tolerances and finishes on component parts and products of any material.
• Must be able to select, dress and shape grinding wheels to desired contour.
• Must be able to use a variety of grinding wheels, measuring instruments, and fixturing devices.
• Must be able to select feeds and speeds.
• Must be able to operate jib crane.
• Must be able to work from blueprints, sketches, and process sheets, written and verbal instruction.
• Must be able to detect and report discrepant operations and defective materials.
• Must be able to keep the work area, machinery, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Must be able to maintain necessary records.

This is a Full-time direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must use various types of inspection equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gages, scales, dial indicators, protractor, and verniers.
• Must have knowledge of surface finishes.
• Must have the ability to set up own machine using fixtures and tooling.
• Must have knowledge of different types of grinding wheels and how they are best used on various types of materials.
• Must be able to dress and shape grinding wheels to contour needed.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Rate: $56,160-$66,560 per year!

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
