The Guest Service agents will be the first and last point of contact for guests visiting the resort. They will be responsible for the check-in and check-out process, as well as coordinating with other departments to meet guest’s needs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Passionate about understanding and creating an exceptional guest and associate experience like no other
Reliable transportations and ability to meet attendance requirements in order to be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older and will be subject to a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Valid OH Driver’s license.
Knowledge of OPERA preferred
Ability to Lift 30lbs
Ability to stand/sit and walk for long periods of time
Ability to bend, stretch and twist
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:

- Responsible for providing a positive guest experience through the check in and check out process of the resort, providing thorough explanations of resort amenities and rules.
- Completes daily checklists, including occupancy reports, contingency reports, and the pre-assigning cottages.
- Communicates cross-departmentally to make sure the needs of the guest are met.
- Collects, processes and documents payments as necessary, following the Cedar Fair cash handling policy.
- Assists the Reservations team with calls as necessary.
- Maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Front Desk, including restocking of guest supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
