Position Overview:
This position is innovative, data-driven and keenly focused on driving growth while leveraging and optimizing resources including, people, partners and technology. The incumbent drives the development and execution of all marketing activities to meet strategic objectives and sales goals. Leads strategy, sets priorities, expands capabilities, and measures performance for a high performing, agile team responsible for market planning, content, brand management, process and scoring, marketing automation, technology and events. Is directly engaged in all segments and collaborates across the organization to bring products to market quickly, increasing sales conversions, improving client engagement, and enhancing the client journey. Leverages foundational work in client experience, client segmentation and extensive client research to educate, collaborate and assist the sales teams with understanding and delivery of potential market opportunities to increase profitability.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and executes a strategic transformation roadmap to evolve to a client-centric organization that leverages data and analytics as well as digital capabilities to enable growth.
  • Leverages insights to enhance digital capabilities including web and mobile experiences, personalization and retargeting efforts.
  • Develops key metrics that clearly show production and profitability goals and attainment, driving collaboration across the organization.
  • Provides senior leadership with insight on competitive positioning and develops action plans to differentiate product offerings.
  • Leverages detailed marketing data throughout the organization from trend analysis and specific client data, to enhance existing products and create marketing strategies to achieve increased product penetration and profitability as it relates to peer group comparison.
  • Assists leadership in defining the brand team's strategic direction and goals.
  • Oversees hiring, development and management of brand and marketing, works across the organization to develop programs that acquire new clients, and maximizes existing client relationships.
  • Develops and manages a cohesive brand strategy across all organizational distribution channels with multiple touch points that are driven by but not limited to digital marketing strategies.
  • Leverages recent brand refresh in establishing a progressive playbook to position Compeer with a unique client centric, brand strategy that increases client experience relative to client anytime anywhere banking expectations.
  • Drives speed to market for new products and expanded distribution channels with streamlined processes and strong partnerships across the organization.
  • Leads development of marketing strategies and programs, including digital, to manage the approach to new product marketing.
  • Develops and executes annual and long-range marketing plans based on in-depth understanding of market segmentation, market trends, client needs, and competitive position; all to enhance the client experience.
  • Leads execution of marketing plans and campaigns across business units.
  • Builds relationships throughout the organization to align priorities to business objectives to drive digital mindset.
  • Defines and nurtures a collaborative and client-oriented marketing community.
  • Oversees product development, positioning, value proposition, and new product launches.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in in marketing strategy.
  • Three to five years of leadership and management experience required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills through a blend of analytical, creative, and strategic capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with high degree of collaboration and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accountability in providing cross functional support within the organization while providing leadership development, mentorship, and inspiration to an engaged marketing workforce.
  • Strong influencing ability and a demonstrated willingness to listen and partner.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Advanced product and project management skills.
  • Strategic and innovative.
  • Ability to apply data driven analytics into actionable strategies.
  • Advanced experience in strategic marketing, planning and collaboration with sales.
  • Experience utilizing search engine optimization strategies.
  • Deep understanding of buyer intent logic to design client journeys.
  • Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and client relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
  • Valid driver's license.
