The Homedelivers services throughout the community, integrating efforts to provide holistic care and support based on each child's distinct needs. Our dedicated child welfare professionals - including clinicians, social workers, psychiatrists and teachers - help over 15,000 diverse youngsters and their families each year, enabling permanent, positive change.

Reporting to the Director of Business Applications, the primary function of this position is the review, design, maintenance, documentation, implementation and trainingof the EHR (myEvolv by Netsmart) at The Home. Carry out various duties in support of the Evolv system and end users including but not limited to: performing analysis and documentation of workflow; assessment of system needs; create training materials and assist with training of end user staff; and requirements including planning and design.

Essential Functions

  • Works closely with end users (individual or group) to evaluate needs and opportunities
  • Responsible for review, design, maintenance, documentation, and implementation of the Evolv application.
  • Ability to create custom reports that are not currently provided by the software vendor using a variety of mediums (Access, Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc).
  • Provides additional support around the agency business applications to include documentation, support around system issues and reporting.
  • Work with software vendor by placing, monitoring and resolving support issues.
  • Creates a positive team environment and delivers a high level of customer service
  • Coordinates with outside consultants that may be required for more complex issues
  • Troubleshoot to isolate, diagnose and resolve system issues.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and policies.
  • Provide information and technical assistance to other departments in the Agency as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 2-4 years in the field or in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience working with and supporting software applications
  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects and meets deadlines
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Understanding of relational database structures and usage
  • Broad knowledge of query and reporting tools and practices
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access with the ability to learn new software applications
