Job Description:


Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. Germanna Community College is seeking a part-time Testing Services High Tech proctor to administer testing services to test candidates using the authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proctors Pearson VUE, Certiport, GED, CLEP, Career Readiness and Automotive Services Exam (ASE)
• Administers academic tests and placement tests for High Tech Testing candidates
• Provides administrative support by creating professional and courteous correspondences between test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff and students
• Generates daily reports; research student records; enter research data in Excel; complete daily task reports
• Provides excellent customer service and provides requested information or refers to the appropriate department
• Ensures all computers have updated software for each test
• Perform other duties as assigned

Special Assignments:

KSA's/Required Qualifications:

• Customer service experience in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with a diverse student population.
• Excellent computer skills; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as a member of a team.
• Ability to learn applications quickly.
• Complete certifications within 30 days of hire date.
• Commitment to working with diverse colleagues, students, and community members.
• Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing equity, inclusion, and diversity.
• Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.
