The Human Recourses Manager will provide high level Human Resources support to a specific team of leaders and employees within the Company. This position will play an integral role in providing business partnership and employee relations leadership, while delivering best-in-class solutions in support of Henny Penny's talent strategy. The role will be responsible for executing key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee and management support, and developing and implementing HR processes. The role will develop and execute strategic HR initiatives and processes and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as a strategic and consultative business partner to the manufacturing organization in order to ensure effective alignment of HR support with strategic organizational objectives.
  • Assist manufacturing in improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing departmental structures and evaluating options, studying resources and ensuring optimal utilization, assessing employee climate, morale and effectiveness and developing action plans to improve these areas.
  • Plan, develop, and direct implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of HR related programs.
  • Provide advice and counsel to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Lead change initiatives, planning, and facilitation, including division- and department-wide workforce and leadership development.
  • Conduct investigations and make recommendations regarding resolution.
  • Partner with the manufacturing organization in the development of career progression, salary planning and compensation assessment, employee relations, performance management, employee development, employee communications, management coaching, and employee engagement.
  • Identify recruiting and headcount needs, working with organizational leadership to assess and select outstanding talent.
  • Ensure appropriate training opportunities are provided to employees to further personal, career, and organizational development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of HR generalist related experience.
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational effectiveness experience including managing and leading change, managing multiple priorities and varying levels of complexity.
  • In-depth experience in employee relations with strong knowledge of employment laws including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, FCRA, Title VII.
  • Recruitment and selection experience including workforce planning and staffing.
  • Strong compensation knowledge including equity analysis, job analysis, job design and overall compensation strategy.
  • Must be a highly organized individual, able to work independently and capable of working in a rapid paced/rapid turnaround environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to come in on 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.
