JOB DESCRIPTION
HR / PAYROLL GENERALIST: DETAILS
Title: HR / Payroll Generalist
Location: Nashville TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $19-23/hour
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: Standard Business Hours | 8:00 am-5:00 pm CT (some flexibility on start and end time) | 40 hours
Training: Yes, there will be training for this role
Interview Process: 2-3 step interview process

REQUIREMENTS: HR / PAYROLL GENERALIST
* Bachelor's Degree
* Proficient excel skills
* Confident, energetic, and outgoing personality - enjoys being a part of a team
* Ability to cross train between HR, Payroll, HR Benefits, and Customer Service
* Take ownership in your area offering process improvements
* Assist others in the group when they need help
* Expected to assist in any projects related to your area

RESPONSIBILITIES: HR / PAYROLL GENERALIST
* Human Resources and Compliance
* EE Benefits Administration (401k, Insurance Benefits, etc.)
* Place/Monitor Employment Ads and screen applicants
* Employee Onboarding
* Payroll Processing and Recordkeeping
* Commission Processing (with Payroll)
* 401k File transmission and maintenance (weekly)
* Performance Evaluations (with Supervisor)
* Employee Terminations (with Supervisor)
* Collections
* Prospecting Support
* Customer Onboarding
* Reception and Misc office tasks
* Backup for any positions as needed (Accounting, CSR, etc.)
