The HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist serves as the point of contact for the Shared Service Center (SSC) within their area or specialty or assignment.  The HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist is responsible for receiving, routing, resolving, and properly closing all Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) HR inquiries within their specialty or assignment in an accurate and timely manner.  The HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist partners with their Managers to regularly review performance outcomes against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist interacts cross functionally with SSC, Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and various departments within BSWH to ensure handoffs, communication and interactions are customer focused, seamless and delivered with high quality.

 

The HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Entering and updating job data changes (i.e., outside of Manager Self Service, COE maintenance & harmonization, organizational redesign) and report changes to SSC leadership/staff, managers, HRBPs, and COEs, when appropriate.
  • Managing requests for immediate terminations ensuring all appropriate parties terminate applicable access in a timely manner (i.e. IT, security access)
  • Overseeing approval/denial and adjudication of relocation expense reimbursement process
  • Performing data integrity audits of information entered or interfaced into the HCM application. Seeks opportunities to pro-actively ensure high quality data integrity
  • Constantly seeking additional opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of individual and team work
  • Serving on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams, as assigned, to assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction of the SSC

The ideal candidate for the HR Shared Services & Operational Specialist will have the ability to perform data integrity audit procedures for large data sets, have strong customer service skills, and also have the ability to use and navigate through multiple computer applications/databases to enter job data changes and personal data (i.e. PeopleSoft, Oracle Could, ServiceNow).

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Assoc or Equiv Experience

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 1 year experience required
