Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Human Resources Manager - Start Up Company - Worcester, MA

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 + Annual Bonus, 401k match. Medical, Dental, Vision, Merit increases, PTO.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, equity, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.

Manage the offboarding process.

Oversee all HR duties such as employee management, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.

Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction through effective communication, recognition programs, and team-building activities.

Communicate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans that support the company's strategic objectives.

Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed to deliver HR services such as benefits administration (health insurance, 401K, EPLI, Workers' Compensation, etc.)

Take care of EDD claims accordingly.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and recommend adjustments to HR strategies and practices as necessary.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; A Master's degree or HR certification such as SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP is highly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, with a proven track record of success in driving HR initiatives and managing employee relations.

In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate and address HR challenges proactively.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals.

Proficiency in HRIS software and other HR-related technology tools such as ADP Workforce Now.

Advanced in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
