Four Corners Mine represents 71,000+ acres of land in Central Florida that is currently being used for the mining and processing of phosphate rock which is the raw material for phosphate fertilizer production. Transportation of products are conducted by truck and rail car.

Are you our next Hydrogeologist?

The Hydrogeologist will support mine dewatering and water table mitigation efforts. Design and execute aquifer tests/analyze data. Prepare monitoring plans. Direct well installations and log boreholes. Prepare borehole logs and prepare reports as needed for submission to regulatory authorities. Operate dewatering system and recharge systems as required. Data collection and analysis as required.

What will you contribute?

  • Attend meetings, support EHS policy with safety inspections, etc.
  • Other duties as may be required in support of geologic/hydrogeologic program needs.
  • Plan monitor networks, prepare reports, analyze data,monitor results, and refine systems.
  • Design and install de-watering and/or mitigation systems. Prepare and install monitoring well networks and direct contractor installations of recharge systems and monitoring networks.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:
  • Bachelor's degree required, major inGeology.
  • 1+ years of Mining or Hydrologist experience.
