Title: IAM Transformation-Release Train Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN;

Responsible to develop strategic and tactical plans for a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security program. Leads the development of policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls. Responsible for managing and optimizing delivery of IAM solutions across 12+ teams.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is the member of the Agile Release Train (ART) team responsible for navigation of ART team activities.
  • Establishes architecture oversight and planning for information and network security technologies.
  • Responsible for planning and facilitating PI Planning readiness via fostering the preparation of the vision and risk management of backlogs.
  • Recommends strategy adjustments and coordinates quarterly planning
  • Leads development of an information security risk management program that includes business, regulatory, industry practices and technical environment considerations.
  • Provides advanced level engineering design functions; provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
  • This role will facilitate program level processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk and help drive program level continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that Product Management, Products Owners, and other value stream stakeholders are informed of ART activities to ensure strategic execution alignment.
  • Provides technical guidance and leadership to the technical engineers and product owners within the organization
  • Participates in the design of the enterprise architecture.
  • Proposes opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
  • Aggregate and publish team objectives to ensure execution of ART plan.
  • Manage and optimize the flow of activities through sprint and program increments using various ART and Agile tools.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
  • Routinely acts as a subject matter expert for executive management.
  • Establishes architecture oversight and planning for information and network security technologies.
  • Leads development of an information security risk management program that includes business, regulatory, industry practices and technical environment considerations.
  • Provides advanced level engineering design functions; provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
  • Provides technical guidance and leadership to the technical engineers and product owners within the organization.
  • Participates in the design of the enterprise architecture.
  • Proposes opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
  • Recommends strategy adjustments and coordinates quarterly planning.
  • Capable of serving as technical merger & acquisition lead. Routinely acts as a subject matter expert for executive management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people;
  • Minimum of 5 years of strong experience in implementing Agile methodologies
  • 2 years Agile Release Train Engineer experience
Preferred Skills, Experiences and Capabilities
  • Broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems is strongly preferred.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to
  • SAFe Certified
