Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales to prospective and current Members. Effectively overcomes objections to close the sale.
Works to meet or exceed targets assigned by the Sales Agent's manager.
Consistently provides a service experience that enhances the Member's affinity to the AAA brand and results in greater Member satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively performs outbound calls, working marketing lists, occasional special project's, and cross-selling/up-selling new and existing Members
Deliver extraordinary customer service to Members using sound business judgment, by accurately answering questions, applying and interpreting department policy and effectively utilizing department references and resources
Handle escalated incidents and notify appropriate management as necessary
Follow up as appropriate to close incidents that were not able to be resolved immediately
Identify and recommend procedures to improve department efficiency
Possesses sales skills effectively employed in the tracking, following up on and closing of assigned leads.
Knowledge of desktop systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office software applications.
Problem-solving - Identifies problems, lists the possible solutions, evaluates options, and selects options to find solutions to problems. Design solutions. (Intermediate)
Data Entry - Proficient typing skills. Computer skills and a knowledge of relevant software packages. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. (Intermediate)
Customer Service - Front-line customer contact with sales. Involves effective listening, attentiveness, patience, persuasive speaking and communication skills. (Intermediate)
Bilingual Communication Skills (Preferred)
Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
1 to 3 years of sales experience required. Identity protection industry and/or call center work experience preferred.
Proven ability to develop rapport via phone interactions (Preferred)
