Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of a respected client in the North Miami area for an Import Specialist Coordinator. Our client prides itself on delivering exceptional service and values employees who contribute to its success. The primary responsibilities of this role include handling shipments for ocean imports and domestic trucks, coordinating pickups and drop-offs with various stakeholders, managing orders and bookings, processing carrier payments, tracking and tracing shipments, generating month-end inventory reports, and ensuring timely release of shipments.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of international freight forwarding services, including cargo movement, scheduling, cost optimization, and quality control. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to maintain satisfactory performance standards.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in import logistics

Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of college education or equivalent technical institute degree or relevant working experience

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite

Language:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
