We are seeking a candidate to join a team responsible for managing and maintaining the Technology & Information Security Compliance and Readiness program, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements. The position will involve partnering with technology and security teams to validate control effectiveness and provide control reporting to leadership.

You will be working closely with our team - Certification Assurance Team, first-line IT and Security technical staff, enterprise-level risk and compliance teams, and internal audit, you will be part of a wider organization focused on delivering high-quality services that enable and ensure PayPal's readiness to meet security compliance requirements. Your role will involve assessing, tracking, and reporting on control deficiencies and remediation activities, partnering with technical teams to identify and assess control design, and providing control reporting to leadership to assist in strategic decision-making activities. Overall, your work will help strengthen PayPal's security posture and maintain our customers' trust in our platform.

As a member of the team responsible for managing and maintaining one of the PayPal's Technology & Information Security Compliance and / or Readiness program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of technology and information security controls to meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. Your work will directly impact PayPal's ability to demonstrate compliance with security standards and provide a secure platform for our customers to conduct their transactions.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing PayPal's reputation as a trusted and secure payments provider, and in providing our customers with the confidence they need to transact with us.

Your day to day

  • Manage and maintain the Technology & Information Security Compliance and Readiness program within PayPal Holdings, Inc.
  • Work with stakeholders / control owners to design and test controls to meet PayPal and industry standards and obligations as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with front line IT and Security technical staff, as well as enterprise-level teams to ensure the organization is ready to meet and demonstrate compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements and related contractual obligations.
  • Provide support activities that enable and ensure the organization is ready to meet and demonstrate compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and related contractual obligations.
  • Assess, track and report on control deficiencies and remediation activities using GRC tools, specifically for Payment Card International (PCI) and SSAE18/SOC1/2 reporting and ISO 27001 management among others.

What do you need to bring:
  • Strong experience in managing and implementing technology and information security compliance programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in information security and compliance.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with technical teams, risk and compliance teams, and internal audit to design and test controls, assess control effectiveness, and report on control deficiencies and remediation activities.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools and their implementation for assessing, tracking, and reporting on control deficiencies and remediation activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

$84500 to $204600
