The TSI Health & Safety Division is a global leader in respiratory fit testing and dust monitoring solutions designed to protect human health. The Health & Safety Inside Sales position is for someone who is wired to do extensive outbound calling, emails, and social media as 75% of time will be focused on engaging in these activities with potential prospects and current customers. Ideal candidate must be persistent, positive, and resourceful.

  • Strive to meet individual/team performance sales targets
  • Sell Health & Safety products/services and identify new business opportunities almost exclusively through outbound calls, sending emails, and use of a variety of social media, bid alert boards, etc.
  • Conduct frequent and regular follow up with prospects and install base, assign leads to appropriate Outside Sales
  • Contact current customer install base to offer service, calibrations, trade ins, upgrades, and or set up an appointment with Outside Sales
  • Communicate the benefits of H&S products with potential customers by providing product knowledge for initial evaluations
  • Follow up on instrument inquiries and recent purchase to get immediate VOC feedback
  • Assist with Quotes, bids, documentation for Health & Safety products
  • Key account(s) management/coordinator (when required)
  • Input data into CRM system including qualify leads and/or entering leads
  • Work to keep Sales/Marketing Management informed of customer preferences and trends, and actions of competitors as a basis for recommending changes in strategies
  • Train and mentor new staff members including development of outbound calling skills, call shadowing, and role play scenarios
  • Follow all safety and guidelines, report unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education:
  • Associates (or Technical) degree or equivalent experience is required.

Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of Inside Sales experience (7+ years required if only equivalent experience)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience making high volume outbound calls
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with a technical product
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software
  • Experience with sale closing and revenue generating

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
