Do you take pride on the work you do and work well with others? Do you have one (1) or more years of experience installing cabling, antennas, performing electrical work and more in a commercial environment or related experience?

Mobile Communications America is hiring a Cabling Installer for the Raleigh, NC area. The individual in this role must -- work well with others, willing to learn and achieve - proficiency with installations of cable and electronic equipment consistent with manufacturer and company guidelines. Individuals with experience are preferred but MCA can provide the needed training for individuals with the right attitude

What You Will Be Doing:
• Demonstrate proficiency with installation of DAS wireless equipment consistent with manufacturer and company guidelines
• Installation and support of various cable types (coaxial, fiber, Cat 5/6, etc.) in commercial l environments
• Demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safe and professional manner at all job sites
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment as necessary
• Complete installations for a diverse range of buildings, including stadiums, motor speedways, hospitals, schools, office buildings, multi-family homes
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly tools and work area
• Continuous learning in new products, skills techniques from colleagues and manufacturers
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Maintain customer confidence by performing outstanding work on-site.

What You Will Bring To The Team:
• Willingness to learn new technologies in public safety radio, cellular and other wireless communications systems and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand design plans and bills of material
• Hands-on experience with DAS OEMs.
• Knowledge of basic electrical theory including grounding.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
• Ability to succeed in an often fast-paced environment, establish priorities, work independently as well as part of a team, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree Preferred) with at least 2 years of technical experience, or a combination of related education / experience.
• Must be able to interact and communicate at a personal and professional level.
• Proven track record of reliability and responsibility.
• Drug free, high level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to travel as needed is a plus but not a requirement.

Working Conditions:The physical environment requires the employee to work in construction sites, mostly inside with some outside work, in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear, utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardio vascular work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, frequently ascend / descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, occasionally position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel with some overnight travel is - is a plus
