Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Interface Technical Analyst to support the Navy Enterprise Business Solutions program office. The Interface Technical Analyst will perform communications and interactions with the external interface partners through a dynamic and interactive communication framework and increase the quality/currency of the Interface Control Agreements (ICA) and Interface Memoranda of Agreement (MOA). The position requires extensive coordination with engineering and architecture personnel of current system requirements and the update and tracking of existing interface system requirements of the Navy International Program Office (NIPO) portfolio.
Responsibilities

Requirements for the Interface Technical Analyst are as follows:

  • Create Functional Requirement Documents(s) (FRDs) to facilitate new Interface requirements.
  • Ensure system interface requirement changes are tracked by updating existing FRDS.
  • Conduct requirement workshops with stakeholder personnel.
  • Develop new Interface Connection Agreements (ICA), Interface Design Documents (IDD) and updates to existing ICAs and IDDs.
  • Familiarity with the DODAF framework to define new interface data exchanges in the SV-6, ensuring each ICD has the level of detail required to populate the System View 6 (SV-6) for each interface.
  • Assist in developing a Project Requirements Matrix to include the initial design, business processes and interface requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain the Interface Control Plans including communications framework to ensure a structured and repeatable interface control process, including recommendations or process improvements.
  • Evaluate information which may have required exchange at multiple Information Impact levels and ensure proper security controls are in place.
  • Coordinate test activities, including test bed availability, test data, system connectivity, and validation with direct and indirect system interface partners.
  • Ensure partner notification for upcoming software releases, testing, or other events that may affect the performance of each system.
  • Manage emergent issues and errors, escalation process for error and issue resolution.
  • Identify the governance process and procedures for common projects and initiatives.
  • Develop, initiate, define, and maintain the Interface Control Agreements (ICAs) for each external system interface partner.
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • The candidate MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
  • The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • The candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience
  • Must be capable of performing effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Must have effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be able to manage time and be on time to meetings
  • SAP and/or ERP experience a plus
  • May be asked to perform duties on-site, at the Washington Navy Yard (Post COVID) when required
Pay Range

90K - 120K
