Internal Communications/Marketing Specialist - REMOTE

Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a talented Associate Level Corporate Communications Professional for one of our clients in the Audio-Visual Integration domain.

This is a Full Time/Direct Hire opportunity which is 100% remote always. The team(s) this new hire would work with are primarily in Eastern and Central time zones.

Compensation Information: 55-65k

Required Skills: Writing experience, proofing/editing, working with executives/HR ideal, social media content creation, any project management experience a plus. Tools: MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite

Key Responsibilities: INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST. 75% of role will be writing/content creation, and a majority of which will be internal. Think internal newsletters from the CEO, or HR/diversity department, executives, social media, etc. This position will sit in the marketing division, but again this will be focused on internal communications.

Summarized Job Description:

The Marketing and Communication Specialist is a key member of our brand communications team and will help shape the communication strategies that help build the internal brand and reputation of our company with employees and our communities.

This role helps champion and deliver exceptional and compelling internal communications and supports the development of internal facing communications and content. The specialist works collaboratively with all members of the marketing team and other departments to support efforts to take the brand to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:

• Manage creation of internal monthly newsletter, including sourcing articles and information, interviewing contributors, writing content, and designing the publication.
• Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., leadership, Human Resources) to craft and design company messages, including presentations, emails, and internal campaigns.
• Interface and collaborate with members of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to develop communications and promotional materials.
• Assist in ongoing review and refresh of key brand employee touchpoints.
• Maintain corporate landing page and marketing site on company intranet.
• Assist in planning, development, and coordination of biannual town hall meetings, including coordinating meetings and video production, content development, and analyzing results.
• Contribute to messaging themes and content development for internal sales events.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 2+ years of experience in brand, marketing, communications roles.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex ideas into easy-to-follow communications, conduct copy editing, and advocate for customer-centricity.
• Demonstrate prioritization skills with a keen sense of how to meet deadlines.
• Social media experience, including metrics, paid media and listening to help build brand affinity,
• Leadership skills and ability to partner, lead, and accomplish tasks in a cross-functional organization.
• Passion for problem solving, building cross-functional alignment, and delivering great work.
• Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface internally and externally in a manner that represents that values and brand promise of the company.

Qualifications:

• Initiative, ability to inspire, strong writing skills, knack for translating high technical topics into accessible and engaging brand content.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with executives, employees, and stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team focused on excellence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
• Flexibility to handle quick deadlines and sudden changes
• Ability to commit to brand-building decisions
• Creativity both in problem-solving and producing materials
• 2+ years of experience in Public Relations (PR), Communications, or Marketing on either the agency side or company side
