Area of Accountability

Endpoints (laptops, desktops), Network infrastructure, VOIP phone systems, printers/copiers, Engineering and non-Engineering software and general support for 7 U.S. and 2 international sites

Major Responsibilities (May vary depending on project):

  • Installation and setup of new computers, thin clients and users
  • Proper disposal of old equipment - reimaging and user data backup/restorations
  • Installation of profile-specific items including email, network printers, specialty software, etc.
  • Purchase of I.T. equipment and supplies (laptops, desktops, flat panels toner, etc.)
  • Phone system support
  • Configuration of network equipment including switches and cabling
  • Support of core security technologies including Anti-virus, DLP, patching, VPN
  • Management of objects within AD
  • General support and troubleshooting

Qualifications
  • Current studies in the field of I.T. with a concentration in networking or infrastructure
  • Experience with currently supported Microsoft operating systems at both the desktop and server level
  • Basic understanding of network concepts
  • Knowledge with terminating and testing cables
  • Project-orientation
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Effective communication skills
