IT PROJECT MANAGER

Jumpstart your career at AAA Washington! We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join our PM team. You'll be hands-on throughout project lifecycle activities and have the opportunity to participate in analysis, design and implementation of large complex, cross-functional projects. This position provides the necessary direction, coordination, and follow-up to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget with requirements and quality expectations fully met. The role supports business and technology initiatives throughout the organization, with a specific focus on Salesforce business applications.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Bachelor's degree (BA) in business, project management, information management or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in leading business analysis efforts and project management
• Demonstrated experience with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methods preferred
• Industry certification (PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma) preferred
In this position, you will:
- Lead project teams for strategic projects, including all facets of project planning, execution, change management, and communication.
- Lead and/or participate in process assessment initiatives to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with the business and IT departments to develop business cases for proposed or requested initiatives, including scope, operating & cost benefit, duration estimates, and risks.
- Work with the Program and Product Managers, business analysts and continuous improvement staff, helping to facilitate requirements workshops, meetings, and sessions required to establish pertinent business case detail.
- Create, edit, and obtain approval for all business requirement documents, project documents, and plans. May be required to provide in-depth business analysis in order to ensure comprehensive business requirement document and use cases are delivered.
- Deliver proposals and presentations to decision makers for governance approval of projects.
- Responsible for meeting agreed upon targets for project execution and outcomes.

The target hiring salary range is $96,700 - $118,450 and offer rate is based on experience. Opportunity for an annual company-wide discretionary bonus.
This is a hybrid position.
