Matheson is looking for an experienced Material Handlersfor our Sacramento, CA location.

As a Systems Administrator, you will support the LAN, WANand Internet systems, provide end user support, interact with Active Directory,and assist/mentor Help Desk personnel with triage and resolution. Thesuccessful candidate will be a team player on a small team and communicateeffectively with non-IT personnel to ensure that system hardware, operatingsystems, software applications, network and related procedures adhere to theorganizations processes, controls, and goals. You will provide hardware andsoftware support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will be expected todefine and document best practices and procedures, writing functionaldocumentation, user guides, etc. You will maintain asset inventory. You willhelp with technical project planning and implementation, recommending andhelping initiate new technology/procedures and plans for future ITinfrastructure with direction from management. You will provide rotatingon-call support after hours.

Primary Skills & Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware, network equipment including firewalls, switches and routers
• Thorough knowledge of Exchange to include users, distribution lists, catalogs, transport and mailbox role adjustments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education/Experience:5+ years' experience with at least 3 years in the role of Jr. Engineer orSystems Administrator. VMWare - specifically vSphere and vCenter. Security -experience with assessing security and evaluating system s for commonvulnerabilities is preferable. Active Directory experience to include: DNS,DHCP, Group Policy, Organizational Units (OU's), FSMO role management. Office365 and Azure, SharePoint Administration, VoIP, Linux, and Citrix Metaframe orTerminal Service experience desired.
