Java Developer - REMOTE Headquartered in the central US with offices across North America, we've been leading the way in logistics and transportation services for over 50 years! We are building an entirely new platform from scratch and actively seeking a Backend Java Developer who can take responsibility for development tasks during Agile Sprints! This person will focus on documenting programs, developing + implementing new features, supporting layered architecture for web apps + various back-end systems, and more!

What You Will Be Doing * Lead analysis + design tasks

* Use our CI/CD processes for releases

* Debug apps in your IDE of choice

* Troubleshoot and resolve performance and reliability issues with the team

* Provide leadership to the team in an Agile environment (daily standups, sprint planning, etc)

* Act as a technical consultant with upper management

What You Need for this Position - BSCS or related
- 3+ years of backend development
- Java 8+
- Spring / Spring Boot 2.0
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Cloud (we use GCP)
- AMQ
- Microservices
- Ability to test your own code
- Ability to conduct peer reviews / code reviews
- Ability to take ownership of your work and operate in complex workflows
