Overview of Role

As a Junior Estimator, you will play a vital role in our project estimation process. You'll collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and architects to assess project requirements, analyze costs, and prepare accurate estimates for envelope-related construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning within the construction industry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review architectural plans, specifications, and project scopes to understand envelope-related requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
• Utilize estimating software and spreadsheets to create detailed project estimates.
• Assist in bid preparation and submission.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Learn and apply industry best practices for envelope construction and energy efficiency.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the construction industry.
• Prior experience in estimating or construction-related internships is a plus.
