General Description
Gibbs & Cox, a well-established consulting and engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. area, is looking for a Jr System Safety Engineer/Manager with a solid technical background who is looking to join a dynamic and growing team that provides technical consulting services to diversified clients including the US Navy, the US Coast Guard, foreign military, commercial maritime and commercial transportation industries. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to fully integrate with a multidisciplinary team are required. The Jr. System Safety Engineer will support the system safety programs for a number of new ship acquisition programs to optimize all aspects of safety within the constraints of operational effectiveness, time, and cost throughout all phases of the system lifecycle.
Location: Onsite in Arlington VA, will consider remote for a more experienced engineer
