RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Junior Infrastructure PM in Miami, FL (Florida).Responsibilities of the Junior Infrastructure PM:

• Primary responsibility of the Junior Infrastructure PM will be to project manage business initiatives for the IT Operations group and Applications team
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to assess current controls and procedures for application and operations monitoring using industry practices
• Develop improvement roadmap and gain alignment with IT Stakeholders
• Evaluate incident management and escalation processes and propose improvements and implementation plan
• Junior Infrastructure PM assess current metrics and reporting/dashboard capabilities and make recommendations for improvement
• Evaluate current state for operational run-books, identify gaps and develop improvement plan
• Coordinate teams to minimize disruption to business operations
• Creating executive presentations and be able to convey story and messages clearly and concisely
• Tracking issues and reporting statuses via use of platforms such as Jira
• Junior Infrastructure PM will manage project work plans, revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Maintain accurate reporting of the project schedule and status (relative to time, cost, budget and scope)
• Publish weekly status reports/dashboards
• Junior Infrastructure PM will facilitate project status meetings and key stakeholder reviews
• Manage issues and risks in order to minimize exposure and risk on project
• Provide leadership to diagnose and overcome barriers to team/project progress
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
• Elevate all critical issues and risks with suggested courses of action
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Create and manage Project Workplans, Project Risks and Issues Log and Weekly Status Report/Dashboards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a basic understanding of Infrastructure projects
• Must have strong knowledge in fiber and Wi-Fi installations
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills are a must
