About the Position

Pond is currently placing a JV Accountant to join our team. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting of all Pond and Company Joint Venture (JV) entities. We work alongside a full service multi discipline team of professionals in a fast-paced passionate environment of dedicated and talented engineers, architects, planners and construction employees delivering comprehensive design consulting to our program managers who provide project management services to our customers.

Knowledge and Responsibilities

• Monthly Revenue Recognition for JV entities
• P r oject Accounting, labor and expense changes, revenue adjustments as needed for all JV entities
• Record monthly journal entries as needed for each JV entity
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
• Perform monthly closing of each JV entity using QuickBooks
• Complete monthly closing checklist and balance sheet accounts reconciliations for each JV entity
• Work with external tax prepares and auditors as needed
• Work with Billing Specialists to prepare monthly billings for projects to each customer
• Work with Project Managers to review status of project and Project Close-Out as needed
• Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat business.
• May be required to work after typical hours as project requirements and company needs dictate.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; and 3-5 years related e x pe ri en c e a nd /o r t r a i n i ng; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
