Lab Assistant - 18/hour

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant at our Vail Ave location. This entry-level position will involve supporting laboratory operations and administrative tasks. Hours 8 am to 5 pm. Contract to Hire.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Excel extensively to manage data, generate reports, and assist with documentation.
• Assist in specimen handling, labeling, and preparation for analysis.
• Coordinate with couriers for specimen pickup and delivery.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Previous experience in a medical office or laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Interest in healthcare and willingness to learn about laboratory operations.
