Lab Technician: Part-time

Employee Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform a variety of analytical tasks for the analysis of drug products and raw materials
• Prepare samples for analysis and run some instrumentation with minimum supervision including, but not limited to, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, pH, various wet chemistry analyses, auto-titrators, dissolution apparatus, and IR
• Perform administrative duties for the department
• Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform tests accurately

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with some college science courses
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is ongoing part time, Monday-Friday (and weekend hours to suit student schedules), about 20 hours per week. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
