BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Lab/Test Engineer 2 Job for an opportunity at Could be some remote but will be mostly onsite at Redmond WA!

Position Title: Lab/Test Engineer 2

Location: Could be some remote but will be mostly onsite at Redmond WA

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months and possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract and Onsite

Pay Range: $40 - $45/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Top Skills:

Years of Experience Required - 2+

Degrees or certifications required - Work experience equivalent.

Some lab experience - 2+

SDLC understanding (building and testing) - 2+

Experience with Azure (using and automating with Azure, XML, writing with PowerShell, being able to work within the Azure environment) - 2+

Experience with Mac and Linux a plus.

Lift 40lbs (they need to be able to pick up and move equipment around)

Job Description:

Maintains a set of machines in a laboratory setting. Implement automation to maintain lab hardware using ADO CI/CD. Write automation to manage the lifecycle of machines in Azure and On-Prem. Troubleshoots hardware and software problems as required. May install software and run some automated tests based on a clear set of instructions. Provides status reports on test scenarios, lab machines and configurations. Moving and lifting of hardware maybe required. Skills: General knowledge of personal computers, applications software, and/or operating systems required. Experience setting up computer hardware, installing/upgrading software and operating systems required. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required. Advanced to Expert level PowerShell skills required.
