You will work in a Color Precriptioning Lab focusing on new Color Development, Color Delivery and Color Science. Team members will complement each other in their disciplines and their approaches to innovative projects and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize color matching software to generate color matches
  • Careful preparation of color samples
  • Analyze and interpret color both visually and instrumentally
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work collaboratively with others
  • Maintain and clean laboratory and equipment
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines
  • Maintain laboratory supplies
  • Continuous development of skills and knowledge of color science and the coatings industry

Experience:
  • Associate degree in a science discipline preferred
  • Color matching skills preferred
  • Experience with spectrophotometers and color matching software preferred
  • 1-2 years in a laboratory environment preferred

  • Ability to understand written instructions, test procedures and MSDS sheets
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Clear and concise record keeping
  • Presentation and MS PowerPoint skills a plus
