Ardurra is seeking a Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join our staff in Tampa, FL.

Primary Function

Creative designer with proven design intuition, problem-solving, and project management skills. Capable of visioning, developing, and advancing design concepts to create technically sound, innovative designs for implementation. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture and 7-12 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate has strong graphic skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and other design software. The ability to produce technical documents, engage in the business development, and collaborate successfully within a team is a plus.

As a Landscape Architect, you will work collaboratively on multi/single family developments and amenity centers, municipal parks, streetscapes, institutional campus, high-end residential and ecological restoration projects. You will work closely with clients, designers and construction staff, peer professionals, vendors and municipal agents to oversee a project to successful completion.

Primary Duties

  • Focus will be on quality design, from conceptual process through detailing and implementation
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects including management of assigned personnel
  • Responsible for delegating specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination on projects between other project participants, including planners, architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and clients
  • Authority to sign and seal plans
Education and Experience Requirements
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program
  • 7-12 years of work experience required
  • A Florida license to practice landscape architecture (or able to get reciprocal licensure within 4 months of employment)
  • Must have successful examples of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents
  • Proven experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation
  • Self-motivated with the ability and desire to lead others
