Overview:

Our high-profile client in the eCommerce industry is seeking a Data Analyst who is bilingual in English and Spanish, French, German, Brazilian, Portuguese or Japanese to help with data analysis and annotations for their AI training program. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training data to ensure the best performance of the Company machine learning systems. The goal is to produce the highest quality training data in the industry and to delight customers by improving human language understanding and natural language processing.

Responsibilities:

• Annotate text data and oversee the quality of linguistic annotation.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure high quality of data annotations.
• Provide coherent reports based on the audits.
• Train and provide feedback to other annotators.
• Create quality tests for the annotator qualifications.
• Provide feedback to Language Engineers and Scientists on tool improvements and annotation processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of annotation guidelines.

Top Requirements:

• Language: fluent in Spanish, French, German, Brazilian, Portuguese or Japanese. Coupled with proficiency in English
• Linguistic background
• Experience in relevant industry

Additional requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Communications, or other language or data-related disciplines.
• 4-5 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Native or near-native English speaker.
• Experience with data annotation, linguistic annotation and other forms of data markup.
• Ability to strictly adhere to annotation guidelines.
• Very detail-oriented: ability to identify linguistic ambiguity and annotation inaccuracies in data.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative work environment.
• Passion for human language technology and AI.

Preferred skills/Experience:

• Proficient in Python, Regex
• Experience in the enterprise search domain.
• Experience with machine learning, statistical language modeling.
