Lead Full Stack Engineer We are a Startup with the mission to alter how people view education and communities. To ensure that students from all backgrounds gain a deeper understanding of our common history and society, we are committed to providing a K12 supplemental curriculum that situates Black people, Black culture, and Black contributions to American and global history in an authentic, identity-affirming manner. We are looking for a Lead Engineer/Architect that will be in charge of creating world-class, customer-focused, business-oriented experiences for our digital products for our expanding company.
What You Will Be Doing You will lead a fast-growing team as the mentor and coach for the software engineers to collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and the rest of the business.
What You Need for this Position 3 years of leadership experience and more than 7 years of experience in software engineering
Ability to build architecture that satisfies both internal and external business goals, including ownership of engineering patterns and code quality
knowledge of software technologies, techniques, and patterns to a high level
a thorough knowledge of how to design scalable systems
thorough knowledge of the functional paradigm
a portion of the subsequent technology competency:
Expansive knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, Node.js \sNoSQL and SQL proficiency
AWS, GraphQL, Nest.js, and Next.js
Hasura
It's good to have experience working in a startup environment. Experience establishing infrastructure, roadmaps, and coordinating cross-department collaboration
