Job Description

The Lead Line Runner is responsible for assisting the the packaging team leader while ensuring the Line Runners are adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect, assuring the quality and quantity of product packaged.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leads the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager
• Ensures that the packaging line is set-up and runs productively following all Packaging Operations SOPs and cGMPs
• Completes appropriate paperwork
• Runs the various packaging line equipment
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Prior machine operator experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting required
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
• Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)
