Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Resort Wide:

  • Consistently follow the Welk I- Service service standards at all times.
  • Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Attend safety meetings, keep the workplace in safe condition, and work in a safe manner.
  • Propose ideas or find ways to improve services, systems, and/or procedures.
  • Mentor all co-workers and new hires
Department:
  • Completely clean all villas assigned with-in your scheduled shift.
  • Document missing items and report them immediately to your supervisor
  • New Hire Trainings, as needed.
  • Complete any special projects as delegated by management.
  • Keep all work areas and cart neat and organized at all times.
  • Offer assistance to guests and be familiar with resort activities/hours as to provide guests with proper information.
  • Turn in lost and found items to be held for guest pick-up
  • Maintain all safety and emergency procedures. Report accidents immediately.
  • Cross train to be able to assist In inspecting villas and dispatch as needed.
  • During annual maintenance weeks help out in all areas as directed by Manager
  • Adhere to the do not disturb door hangers, and follow up later for service requests, with dispatch
  • Report any maintenance related items to Manager and or supervisor and note it on your daily report.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:

At least (6) months of similar Lead experience required; previous hospitality and/or food handling experience preferred.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to calculate simple math problems and issue correct change on cash transactions.

The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
