You will play a key role providing consultative talent management guidance to key business leaders. You will also plan, direct, and coordinate complex talent management (TM) projects impacting multiple functional areas within Western Union. This will involve overseeing and conducting strategic, Senior level full cycle recruiting in alignment with Western Union's current state and future vison. You will be providing competitive intelligence on key executive level positions, including structure, organizational models, compensation, and market demographics.

You will champion our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. You will partner with the global leadership team to fully understand the global business strategy and align talent, culture and needed capabilities to support both short and long-term organizational goals and objectives. In addition, you will design talent acquisition strategies and programs that align with the overall TM objectives to attract, motivate, and retain a high performing, diverse workforce. Assisting in leveraging WU's overarching TM as a differentiator to elevate the organization as a developer of talent within the industry and to be "best in class" within the TM arena. Present talent decision tools, processes, and gap analytics to support global organizational goals and objectives. Continually evaluate the current executive recruitment and selection process, systems and tools and propose needed improvements and enhancements to ensure alignment with industry best practices.

It is crucial to partner with key stakeholders in HRLT, Global Leadership Team, and Global Communications and Marketing team to proactively influence the branding of Western Union as a Fintech organization and also expedite the understanding and subsequent communications of upcoming initiatives, organization changes, etc.; create the WU Leadership Brand. As well as partnering with other human resources and business leaders to design and implement a change and communication plan that allows all employees within WU to understand the executive strategy. Assist in conducting needs assessments against the leadership competency set and identify hiring and developmental opportunities to close the gap (Top 200/succession). Establish criteria for selecting key search partners and other outside resources to create a preferred provider list and cadre of valuable vendor resources; control agency spends.

For such a key role, you will have with a minimum of 8 years executive recruiting experience and experience managing retained search vendors. Education or equivalent experience is required. You will also have a broad based, HR experience in the areas of organizational planning, employee relations, training and development, talent acquisition, performance management and compensation for global organizations. In-depth expertise in executive talent acquisition. A demonstrated ability to work closely with executive leadership teams specifically related to global talent management strategies and programs. Strong negotiation, consulting, and communication skills. Strong business acumen, capable of translating business goals to organization and talent acquisition strategies and applications. Highly developed leadership, consulting, and coaching skills with ability to build strong relationship, influence and gain commitment of business partners and other key stakeholders throughout the business. Experience with managing small teams. International experience is desired. Proven experience in implementing global initiatives with scalability requirements within the organization. Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality. Experience driving organizational change and transformation initiatives. Ability to provide vision and leadership yet willingness to get into the details when necessary. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is strongly desirable. Hogan Assessment certification is also desirable.

The on-target earnings range is $168,000-$181,000, which includes a base salary of $140,000 - $150,000, short-term (15% of base), and long-term (5% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
